In this immersive pinball adventure from Stern, players join the Dragonshield Guild in a quest to thwart the dragon queen Tiamat’s rise and prevent the War of Dragons. Players face legendary foes like Xanathar, Balinor, and Sammaster, exploring an intricate fantasy world brought to life under the glass with the iconic Dungeons & Dragons franchise seamlessly integrated into gameplay.
At the heart of the action is Rath the Relentless, the red dragon, an animatronic marvel that reacts dynamically to player actions with multi-axis motion and omnidirectional impact sensing. Voiced by Michael Dorn, Rath challenges players to steal its treasure by targeting a 3-bank feature, unleashing multi-ball fury when it breathes fire. Players can defend against attacks and assist playfield shots using a unique metal shield mechanism between the flippers.
The game offers a wealth of interactive features, including hidden passageways, an electromagnet-powered gelatinous cube that captures the ball, and dungeon levels accessed through a trap door.
