Carpenter/Shop

Summary: The Carpenter/Shop will be responsible for the repair and refurbishment of freight damage arcade games. This would include the repair of damaged wood panels, metal frames and plastics. The Carpenter/Shop will also be responsible for making wood pallets and crates.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Repair video arcade cabinets, vending machines, other fixtures using and integrating materials such as: wood, plastics, and composites of multiple materials with woodworking machines, hand tools, and power tools.
• Shapes or cuts materials to specified measurements, using hand tools, machines, or power saws.
• Builds pallets and crates to secure and ship arcade machines, infrastructure, and other assorted equipment.
• Follows established safety rules and regulations along with maintaining a safe and clean environment.
• Inspects arcade games and vending machines to detect broken or damaged structures.
• Moves necessary materials around jobsite as assigned.
• Cleans up worksite debris.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• 2 or more years of working with wood properties and other carpentry materials.
• Able to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Able to take direction and be a team player.
• Be detail oriented and take pride in your work.
• Skill with the use of hand and power woodworking equipment and machinery including radial arm saw, portable hand tools, and measuring devices.
• Must be able to lift/carry 60+ lbs. and move 50 sq. ft./1000 lbs. fragile pieces.
• Experience using forklifts (standing) to move equipment and pallets around a warehouse environment.
• Basic electric knowledge including AC/DC wiring.
• Welding experience is a plus, but not necessary.
• Amusement/Vending Industry experience a plus, but not necessary.
