Betson team members joined the American Amusement Machine Charitable Foundation in supporting the Sunrise Carnival this week for Sunrise Day Camp-Long Island. The weather was perfect, and the event had the largest attendance all summer—450+ children. The campers enjoyed a fun day of rides, games, prizes, and treats. AAMCF has been supporting the Sunrise Association since 2018. With their help, they have provided joy-filled summers to thousands of children whose lives have been impacted by cancer. 

Sunrise Day Camp-Long Island – a program of the Sunrise Association and the Friedberg JCC – brings the simple pleasures of childhood back to children struggling with cancer, changing months of loneliness and isolation into summers filled with sunshine, laughter, and happiness. And because Sunrise is a day camp, it does all this while allowing the children to continue their medical treatment and enjoy the comfort and safety of their own homes at night.
